Peggy was found wandering in a village. She had been hit by a car and had a badly injured leg. Poor Peggy had been through the wars.
Peggy is now in a loving foster home she has had her leg amputated and is now fully recovered, having three legs is proving no disadvantage to her. She is quite a dominant dog and would do well to be with another dog of a similar size as she is happy in the company of another dog.
She was taken out from a Perrera, by P.E.P.A., because she had a badly injured leg and would not have survived long in such an environment. The vets couldn’t save the leg and so it was amputated.
