Mara - RC301857
Mara was born on 16th July 2020 and is vaccinated, microchipped, passported and sterilised.
Mara was found abandoned by the bins when she was just a tiny scrap. She was taken to an animal loving lady who bottle fed her and nurtured her. It’s thanks to her that Mara has blossomed into such a striking cat.
Mara is used to be around dogs, she was brought up with a medium sized podenco dog. They get on extremely well and sleep and play together. Mara is also fine with other cats that she comes across.
Having been hand-reared Mara loves being around people and is an affectionate soul. She also loves to be outside as much as inside the house and is used to coming and going. For this reason Mara needs to be homed in a house with a garden, she would not settle in an apartment and is not used to town life.
This is a very sad situation. Mara’s owner is now living permanently in a residencia. It is breaking her heart to have to find a new home for Mara.
Mara is currently living in the house and a kind friend visits everyday to feed her. Mara is able to go in and out of the house, but obviously it is only a short-term solution. Mara is lonely, she is so pleased when the friend visits, wrapping herself round the friend’s legs and purring.
Mara so needs a loving home.
